2024 Grant Cycle Dates
The Eakin Family Foundation will make distributions for its charitable purposes twice a year. The following are the EFF 2024 grant cycle dates:
Cycle 1:
- Application Process Opens: February 1, 2024
- Applications Due: May 15, 2024
- Notification of Award and funds dispersed: June 2024
Cycle 2:
- Application Process Opens: July 1, 2024
- Applications Due: October 15, 2024
- Notification of Award and funds dispersed: November 2024
2023 Recipients
- Indigenous respiratory health project in Nunavik, funded through the McGill University Health Centre Foundation.
How to Apply
The Eakin Family Foundation aims to fund qualified Canadian registered charities or non-profit organizations working in one or more of the areas that align with its mission: improvement of postsecondary education for Indigenous, Inuit, and Metis people; support for homeless, vulnerable, or socially disadvantaged individuals; mitigation of the impacts of climate change; medical research and the delivery of healthcare.
